Hindi Kavi Sammelan organised by BBJ - 2018

With a view to promote the Official Language - Hindi, a "Hindi Kavi Samellan" was organized in the auditorium of Bharatiya Bhasha Parishad at 2.30 P.M. on 28th March, 2018 under the auspices of The Braithwaite Burn and Jessop Construction Co. Ltd.(BBJ), a Govt of India Enterprise. The Samellan was started by a Mangalgeet. Shri Sundar Banerjee, Chairman & Managing Director gave the inaugural address and explained the purpose of organizing such poet conference. Shri R.K. Mitra, Director(Finance) was also present in the programme. First session was conducted by Shri Prabhu Dayal, Incharge-Official Language.

On this occasion, "BBJ Darpan" - Rajbhasha house magazine published by the Company was released by Sundar Banerjee, CMD, RK Mitra, D(F) including Hon'ble poets.

Popular Hindi Kavi Jai Kumar 'Ruswa', Nand Lal 'Roshan', Nisha Kothari and Vishwajeet Sharma 'Sagar' read out their poems in the programme. Gazals presented by Nand Lal 'Roshan' and Nisha Kothari were very much liked by the audiences. Jai Kumar 'Ruswa' entertained people with his humorous satire. This session was conducted by Shri Vishwajeet Sharma 'Sagar'. At the end of the programme, Shri Prabhu Dayal, Incharge of Official Language gave away the Vote of Thanks. The conference was attended by a large number of officers, employees and workers of various levels including General Managers, Dy. General Managers, Chief Managers, Engineers and professionals. Guests from other organizations were also present on this occasion.
